A new chromeOS Crazy Error is in the works, this time using the brand-new chromeOS 117 operating system, using modified versions of the ChromeVox Spoken Feedback sound effects and the startup, low battery, and charging sounds as error sounds instead of the Windows 8 sound effects used in the previous chromeOS Crazy Error. This crazy error will use the Hikakin Mania MSTPT as background music, which will be converted by themirrazz himself from the current 2-minute version into the full 4-minutes.
“It’s a unique BGM,” says themirrazz, “and it’s definently memorable, but I’d like my chromeOS Crazy Error, which also happenes to be my first finished crazy error, I’d like it to have a full-version of the BGM. However, there is something in the music video that looks kind of disgusting, and I don’t know what it is and have a feeling that I don’t want to know what it is. So if someone wants to have the full video, then they can create the video themselves. I'm not going to.” themirrazz also says that he plans to release the full audio on his YouTube channel, though give a warning for using it in crazy errors and listening to it in public places. “I’ve heard that it says some inappropriate things in Japanese in the lyrics. I’m lucky that I’m not fluent enough in Japanese to understand it. Or maybe it’s not even that bad. I honestly have no idea.”
themirrazz also says this is going to be one of his biggest projects ever. “This is going to be my first crazy error that will actually be completed,” he states, “I want to make sure that I do everything correctly, that this leaves a good impression on the rest of the crazy error community, especially since one of the most popular crazy error makers is actually one of my subscribers, and there’s just a lot of pressure for me to make this a great crazy error.” themirrazz also stated he will not be using Windows 8 sound effects for the majority this crazy error. “At the time, chromeOS had limited sound effects. The boot sound, camera sounds, ChromeVox sounds, dictation sounds and that was abou it. Now, chromeOS has gained a charging sound and low battery sound, so I can modify and pitch those into error sounds.” themirrazz also plans to release the modified sounds for use in crazy errors. “It could definently help some people who want to make chromeOS crazy errors by providing them with sounds that, at least, originate from original system sounds. Uh, however, the uhm, the empty recycle bin and navigation sounds will still be the Windows 8 sounds. Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 11, Windows 9, whatever you want to call it. Those sounds haven’t been changed since the release of Windows Vista.” themirrazz wants to make this crazy error include lots of details and elements, including ones most people won't notice. “Even if there are too many error dialogs covering the file explorer, I'm still going to change the image whenever you here the navigate start sound, or whenever a new storage medium such as a USB flash drive or SD card, is inserted. The animations for the launcher and control center, and the unlocking animation, the animation when apps are opened or unfocused or closed, or unpin apps are opened and slide over. Even the tray where downloaded files and screenshots are stored, and the volume slider, the IME popup. I'm going to put so much detail in everything, because why not. I want to make sure this is one of the best crazy errors in existence. Not the best, but one of them.” He plans on making using of all-new error dialogs, the Chrome web browser, the settings and files apps, many notifications, and the dictation, IME, and tote features. It also will display UIs and errors from popular websites such as Google, Yahoo! Japan, Bing, YouTube, Wikipedia (日本語), ニコニコ (Nico Nico), Securly, Microsoft, About Google, Google.Org, Google Help Center, Pandora, IXL, #SaveCosmo, Ubuntu Japan, SEGA, SoundCloud, Firefox, Fandom, JSConsole, NoRedInk, Ecosia, GitHub Japan, WINDOWS93, uBlock Origin, Kahoot!, Scratch, Fedora Linux Japan, among other websites. “I realized that list is a lot to take in on paper, er... document,” themirrazz commented on the list of websites. However, being in a crazy error, they are going to be displayed quickly for flashes inside the Chrome web browser, so they'll be disabled for as little as milliseconds as a time. “This happens in lots of crazy errors with websites, file explore, etc etc. In fact, in my original chromeOS Crazy Error Preview, it cycles through 4 different apps quickly on the Google Play Store.”
themirrazz plans to have this crazy error premiere on a livestream YouTube. Before that, it might stream the first half in themirrazz’s Discord server, if he is allowed to use Discord again at the time. After it premieres live on YouTube, it will officially release either the next day, or later on the same day. themirrazz has told us that if everything goes during release, the crazy error will release on YouTube, Vimeo, Nico Nico, and possibly iTunes for the public to watch. “It seems like a weird thing to do, to release my crazy error on iTunes,” said themirrazz when asked to comment on this decision, “But it helps allow me to monetize my crazy errors, and I’ll probably have it sell on iTunes for 99 cents, the same price as a song. So I’ll be getting around 20 cents while the remaining 79 go to Apple. I’d say that’s a good deal. I don’t even need that much money, I just need to start making some so I can support myself in the future, since I plan to not go to college.” themirrazz plans to also release his crazy error in the exact 480p 30fps MOV format that the iPod Nano 7th Generation can read. “I have this iPod, my mom got it from our dad as a birthday present but never used it, so now it’s practically mine. I’ve always had problems when transferring videos onto, and it’s just a pain to convert the file types and I just don’t really feel like doing that all the time just to get a YouTube video onto my iPod. I don’t feel like other people would want to bother with converting it multiple times, either.”
themirrazz has taken great lengths to make sure that this becomes popular with all kinds of people. “Well, since this is a crazy error, I want it to be a full 4-minute crazy error. Since my chromeOS Crazy Error preview is, after all, my second most-popular video on my channel. So it needs to also have good animation, no bugs, no animation errors, pitch-perfect pitching and no timing issues,” commented themirrazz on his plans for his new crazy error. “Second off, this crazy error will also feature many Sonic references, with some being the display of the official SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog websites, as well as the Sonic Weekly podcast in Pandora, a Google search for Tails, the SEGA and Sonic official YouTube channels. And it also shows the Wikipedia and Sonic News Network pages for Tails, and the official #SaveCosmo website. Those will all appear inside of Chrome at one point or another. Third, there’s the software that everyone knows about and uses, that when people see you have it, they think, &OpenCurlyQutoe;Oh, okay, this guy’s human.’ Which is why I’ve decided to showcase Discord in it.” Having had lots of trouble with his dad, including his dad accidentally causing him to feel depressed and even suicidal on multiple occasions, we asked themirrazz on his response for if his dad sees Discord inside of his crazy error. “It’s a freaking crazy error, he probably won’t even watch it. To him, it’s ‘useless code’ that doesn’t server a purpose, and that’s also kinda the reason I’d like to monetize my crazy errors. So I can show him that I’ve made actual money off of my ‘useless’ code, which isn't even code. In fact, even the top crazy error creators use video editors, because sometimes, computers just won't keep the proper timing or offer the amount of flexability you get by using code-based crazy errors. The problem is I’ll need to log in to Discord to get a screenshot at the right size, and then I’ll need to send a message to someone telling them to message me so that I can screenshot the notification of the message. I’m not worried about that anymore; since this is a chromeOS crazy error, there’s only one Chromebook in this house where Discord isn’t blocked and that’s my sister’s personal Chromebook.” themirrazz doesn’t seem worried about his dad at the time, but that could change, and could affect the production of this crazy error and all of his future crazy errors in general. “This is one of the many genres of videos I’ll be making, and undeniably at first one of the most popular. Heck, my first subscribers came from fighter’s crazy error Discord server. It will, hopefully, attract even more people in the server, which might get me the less-than-20 subscribers required of meeting my goal of 50 by April Fools’ Day. Of 2024. So yeah, this is a pretty big thing for me, as 50 subscribers is a milestone. I means I’m 10% of having enough to enable monetization, so yeah. Pretty big milestone.” themirrazz appears to be confident that he will be able to make this crazy error, and that it will either release in very late 2023 or early to mid 2024. “I know that if I actually put the effort in then I can complete this crazy error, and that I can have this done and published within a reasonable time while also making other YouTube videos. But I don’ have an official release date, the last time I did that with a crazy error, what came out of the exporting process was a piece of sh**.” We’ll all be on the edge of our seat waiting for themirrazz’s brand-new crazy error.
